Our AGM was a well attended meeting, where I was once more elected as your Chairman, along with our existing committee: we thank you for your confidence in our abilities to continue our work of fulfilling the Civic Societies four main objectives over the coming months.

At this AGM I summarised how we have been working to our Societies’ objectives and when looked at over the year, I do think that the Committee should be congratulated for its hard and focussed work. We reluctantly said our “Good Byes” to a loyal Committee member, Tim Lee who has been a conscientious and supportive member for over ten years. We give our thanks to Tim.
Members enjoyed the Phillips Collection Exhibition that we had access to after our meeting. It was an enjoyable and sociable way to round off what was a successful event.

This will be held on Tuesday March 17th 2026. At the Town Hall.
We have invited SKDC Conservation Officers to come and give us a talk about their work.
It promises to be an interesting evening and I hope you can all come and join us at this event.
We are planning a Members Evening in December at Browne’s Hospital. I do really hope that as many Members as possible come and join us on December 11th at 19.00 hours.
