Stamford Civic Society welcomes new members. You don't have to live in Stamford! Please join us and help to conserve and enhance this beautiful town.

Members receive our quarterly Newsletter. We organize events throughout the year. Through the Society's membership of Civic Voice, each member can receive one pass for a National Trust property, each year*.

Organizations are also welcome to join as Sponsors. For further information, please contact The Secretary.

Individual membership is only £10, or £15 for two people living at the same address. A year's membership runs from October to September, but if you join after 1st May, you are not asked to pay again until 1 October in the following year.

You can join by completing our membership pack, which you can download from this page. If you have questions, or would like a membership pack posted to you, please feel free to contact the Treasurer on 01780 751620 or at treasurer@stamfordcivicsociety.org.uk. The Society is a registered charity governed by a constitution.

Please download, print and complete a membership pack to join the Society. Each pack includes a membership form, a standing order form (should you wish to pay by this method) and one or two data protection forms, depending on whether one or two people are joining.

Payment: we prefer payment by Standing Order and a form is included in the membership packs. If you wish to pay by bank transfer, please use these details: account name: STAMFORD CIVIC SOCIETY; sort code: 40-43-05; account number: 00784591; please be sure to include your name in the reference field as this is the only way that we can trace your payment.

The packs can be opened and printed in most web browsers, or you can download a PDF reader for your computer. Once you have completed and sent us your membership pack, we shall be in touch to welcome you.

Do you have a special skill?

We know there are many people with special talents that we would love to call on when the need arises. For example, there are times when experience in art and design, journalism, public relations and advertising, or organising events and theatre would be very helpful. We also need people from whom we can take advice and who have professional expertise in architecture, surveying, planning regulations or building conservation. This need not be a big time commitment. Please do contact us to discuss how we might use your skills and experience.
